Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
Students take a four year sequence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. In the first three years, they complete a Regents course in Biology Sciences, two Regents courses in Physical Sciences, and three Regents courses in Mathematics. Additionally, they enrich their analytical thinking proficiency through three fundamentals modules in computation, inquiry, and programming. In the junior and senior years, students have access to college-level curriculum - on campus and through our local College Now partner Hunter College - that expose them to both theoretical and applied approaches to learning. Students develop STEM literacy, problem-solving, presentation, and research competencies, and how to extend these skills beyond the classroom.
